Careful screen removal
On almost every tablet the battery sits directly under the display, so the screen must come off first. We apply gentle, evenly controlled heat to soften the wide adhesive seal, then work thin tools slowly around the edges to avoid cracking the glass or nicking internal cables.

Disconnect the battery
Before touching the cell, we disconnect the battery connector from the logic board to remove all power from the system. This protects the delicate electronics from short circuits and keeps the work area safe while the battery is exposed.

Safely release the strong adhesive
This is the slowest and most delicate part. Tablet cells are glued down along their full length, so we use a battery-safe adhesive remover and patient, even leverage from the correct angles, never prying against the flat face of the cell. If a battery is swollen, we treat it as pressurized and handle it with extra care.
💡 The adhesive is intentionally strong for durability, which is exactly why forcing it at home so often punctures the cell.

We fit a manufacturer-grade replacement cell rated for your exact model, seat it with fresh adhesive, and reconnect it to the board. Using a properly matched battery is what restores full runtime and avoids the fit and charging problems that come with cheap, mismatched cells.

Yes, a lifting screen or puffy back means the battery is swelling, and a swollen lithium cell is under pressure and can vent or ignite if punctured or bent. Stop charging and using it, keep it away from heat, and bring it in. Do not try to press the screen back down or pry the battery out yourself.
