URGENT: If your phone got wet, power it OFF immediately and do NOT plug it in to charge. Do NOT try to turn it on to 'test' it — sending current through a wet board spreads short circuits and accelerates corrosion. Do NOT bury it in rice; rice does not draw out internal moisture and only wastes critical time. Emergency intake: power off, don't charge
When you arrive we confirm the phone is powered off and never connect it to a charger, since applying power to a wet circuit is what causes most permanent damage. We record what liquid was involved and how long ago, which helps us judge corrosion risk before opening it.
💡 Salt water, soda and coffee are far more corrosive than clean water and need cleaning even faster.

Full teardown
We carefully open the phone and disconnect the battery first to remove all power from the circuit. Then we remove the screen, shields and boards so every trapped droplet and hidden pocket of liquid is exposed for cleaning.
💡 Liquid often hides under shields and connectors where you'd never see it from outside.

Ultrasonic & isopropyl cleaning
The logic board and affected parts are cleaned with high-purity isopropyl alcohol and, when appropriate, an ultrasonic bath that lifts corrosion and mineral residue from between tiny components. This step removes the conductive deposits that cause shorts and future failures.
💡 Isopropyl displaces water and dries clean, which is why it works where rice cannot.

Inspect board & components under magnification
Under a digital microscope we inspect for burnt traces, corroded pads, and damaged chips or connectors. We use a bench power supply and multimeter to check for shorts and identify exactly which components are still faulty after cleaning.
💡 Some corrosion is only visible under magnification, so a naked-eye 'it looks fine' can be misleading.

Replace failed parts
Liquid frequently kills specific parts such as the charging port, battery, screen or camera even when the board survives. We replace the components that testing shows have failed so the phone can return to normal operation.

Should I put my wet phone in rice? ＋
No. Rice cannot pull moisture out from deep inside a sealed phone and does nothing to stop the corrosion already happening on the board. Worse, waiting for rice to 'work' wastes the critical early hours. Power the phone off and bring it to us as soon as possible instead.
My phone still turns on after getting wet — is it fine? ＋
Not necessarily. A phone can work at first while corrosion quietly spreads inside over the following days, leading to sudden charging failures, screen issues or total shutdown later. A professional cleaning while it still works gives the best chance of avoiding that.
